Y.T. Anderson: Storyteller & Speaker on Sustainable Tourism & Destination Management
As the President & CEO of Visit Northern Finland & Oulu Convention Bureau, I’ve dedicated my career to pioneering sustainable tourism, destination stewardship, and social inclusion. With years of leadership experience in Finland’s unique northern regions, I’m here to inspire a global audience with insights into year-round destination development, sustainable growth, AI in tourism economy and community-driven travel. Whether you’re a business executive or local government official, I invite you to explore how we can shape the future of tourism together.
I am the founder and developer of DestinationReady.ai, a practical AI-readiness platform created specifically for visitor economy - destinations, convention bureaus, business events and other professionals.
The platform grew from a simple question: how do we move from experimenting with AI to actually using it strategically and responsibly in our organisations?
DestinationReady.ai brings together practical AI tools, prompts, use cases, readiness assessment and shared industry knowledge to help organisations understand where AI can create real value and how to start applying it.
The work behind DestinationReady.ai also inspires my speaking on AI and the visitor economy, allowing me to combine emerging technology with the realities of leading destination organisations.
